Praying the Rosary
A post in our latest news section.
Today our school family gathered together to pray the Rosary, asking for peace and unity throughout the world as well as our special intentions.
A “Million Children Praying the Rosary” campaign, takes place each year on the 18th of October, the feast of St. Luke the Evangelist.
The campaign recalls the thought of St. Padre Pio who said, “When one million children pray the Rosary, the world will change”; as well as Jesus’ words in the Gospel of St. Luke: “Unless you become like children, you will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.”
This year’s campaign, which is dedicated to asking for peace and unity throughout the world, is focused on the importance of angels in our lives.
Our wonderful children were very reverent and the power and beauty of the prayers lit up the church. We were so very proud of them all. Special thanks to Gabriel and Scarlet who helped lead our Mysteries of Light.
