Celebration of the Word
Every Monday morning, the children participate in a whole school Celebration of the Word. This is always based on the Gospel from the weekend. This is usually led by Mrs Garbutt or Mrs Lamond. Please find below a newsletter which explains the main themes and messages the children will explore each month.
Each Wednesday, the children engage in a Celebration of the Word as a phase – either Year 1 and 2, Year 3 and 4 or Year 5 and 6. This means that themes and key messages can be shared which are age appropriate. These Celebrations of the Word are led by class teachers in each phase.
Please see the link below for this week’s Wednesday Word, sharing the Gospel with parents and families.

Once a fortnight we have a whole school Celebration Assembly where the children receive ‘Star of the Week’ certificates in recognition of their hard work and achievements.
Children are also picked for an ‘Ethos Certificate’. This goes to children in each class who have been recognised for living out our mission and values that week.
We also have a class Celebration of the Word which parents are invited to attend. This takes place at 9:00am in the Hall. Refreshments are then served afterwards. Classes from the relevant phase will also attend the class Celebration of the Word.
